Traditional gourmet Japanese sushi place at a walking distance. Mark Zuckerberg loved it so much that he donated $10k to them in 2020. I personally like newer/fusion sushi places but this is a good option.

Half moon bay is a charming NorCal beach town. The ocean and beaches are typically cold there, but that doesn't take away the beauty of the nature. Personally, I like the part of Half Moon bay near Ritz-Carlton. It has a combination of ocean and cliff view, very breath-taking. Note the traffic to Half Moon Bay is normally heavy on weekends, especially on hot days.

Santa Cruz is the only warm weather beach town in NorthCal--it feels more like SoCal in that sense. It has a hippy but laid back atmosphere, and holds many attractions both inside Santa Cruz and south of SC at Capitola or Aptos.
