Bradgate Park is around a 40-minute drive from the hut. a large open park with a lot of history. The park is dog friendly, but there are many deer around, so leads are needed—some of the best and dog-friendly pubs everywhere. Curzon arms super cosy but also has a fantastic beer garden, excellent roast dinner, the pear tree - the best wood oven pizzas and the bulls head.

Lutterworth is the nearest town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Msk is new and a firm favourite. They do casual street food type menus, breakfast, brunch and pastries. it's not the cheapest place, but it's great inside, the food is always excellent, and the staff are super accommodating
