Traveler advice
Don't miss
Kayaks and Paddle Boards
Please enjoy them!! But a couple of things..
1. Life vests must be worn at all times. They are located in the garage.
2. Paddling against the tide in the main channel (heading towards the ocean) can be a challenge.
3. Ideal times for paddling in the mail channel are 30 min prior to low tide and anytime within the 4.5 hours proceeding the incoming tide. The incoming tide will greatly assist your paddling efforts.
4. Paddling in the finger canals is relatively easy to navigate regardless of the tides.
5. Be aware of boat traffic and paddle closer to the shorelines as they pass.
