I grew up in this region (Ondra). "Declared the first geopark in the country by UNESCO, the Bohemian Paradise area is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Czech Republic. One of the biggest attractions is the area of rock formations between the towns of Jičín and Železný Brod. Thanks to the forces of nature you can admire lofty sandstone forms here, worn into weird and wonderful shapes, some of which are 60m tall." Traveler advice

Getting around

Public City Transport

Best way to get around Prague. (along with Uber) - reliable, cheap, quite easy to understand. Get a multiple day pass based on how long you plan to stay. All info at dpp.cz/en
Don't miss

@OnePragueTour

Our walking tours are designed to provide you with the best possible "introduction" to historical Prague, but we will also give you many ideas what to do and see in Prague. It’s not just history/ culture talk, but also beer and food tasting along the path, we show both main sights and off the beaten path. Message us, we look forward to guide you! We also operate @pragueway.tours - guided e-scooters, segway and different walking tours.
Ways to save

Careful of tourist traps

Shady exchange offices, crap souvenirs, fake weed shops, asshole taxi drivers etc. - "Honest Guide" YT channel does a very good job to warn you so you avoid all these scams ;) By the way, Prague’s super popular "chimney cake" (trdelnik) is tasty, but not local & traditional at all, it’s Hungarian!
Customs and culture

Read the Doodles :)

Great fun way to learn more about us, cool history facts and our culture, we recommend to check these: https://www.google.com/doodles?q=Czechia More great sources (in English too) where to find useful information is prague.eu , "Honest guide" YT channel, expats.cz or goout.net to find events and tickets.
