Salem, Mass
The home of everything witchy. This Boston bedroom community comes alive in the summer and fall with people who are spellbound. Experiences range from the occult to the kitsch. Spoiler Alert: It looks nothing like the movie "Hocus Pocus"

Ogunquit, Maine
Pronounced "Oh-Gun-Quit"
Our favorite day trip to Maine is just an hour and half drive to a town with lots of little shops, good food, a walking path along the cliff rocks, - and a gorgeous beach.
This hotel/resort is a destination in itself, and has a great day spa. There is an amazing but pricey restaurant hangin out over the cliffs, and a great sandwich, fish shack by the pool. We stop in for a pedicure and lunch when we are feeling very grown up.
