Getting to Kolocep
There are daily ferries, run by Jadrolinija, to the island of Kolocep; journey time is 30 minutes and it is first stop from Dubrovnik. Time table is located on www.jadrolinija.hr
You could also enquire locally in Dubrovnik about getting a water taxi to the island.
Kolocep is a car-free zone, with just a few lanes leading along the bays and beach. The sandy beach in Donje Celo is popular among families with kids while other swimming spots are all on an easy walking distance from both villages. Walking consists of pleasant easy and safe strolls. Evenings and nights are quiet with no nightlife except a couple of seafront cafes.
