Familiar and lesser known tourist sites in Jerusalem
Went up for observation at the YMCA. This is without a doubt the most beautiful viewpoint in Jerusalem and only a few know it, even the locals. After visiting the top, I recommend going down the stairs to the bottom and entering the small and special chapel that is at the bottom of the tower. You can have a nice coffee at the hotel.

It is difficult to understand the Israeli story without visiting Yad Vashem. It is not by chance that every important political visit takes place in this museum, which for the State of Israel provides justification and a reason for its existence.

Apart from the fact that it is an important historical place for every Christian, this is a magical neighborhood whose afternoon stroll in its alleys will give you an atmosphere of yesteryear. Warm recommendation: Look for the wonderful chocolate shop in the center of the neighborhood and dip your head in the Miriam spring.

A visit to Jerusalem is not a visit without spending at least half a day in the Old City. Wander the alleys of the Arab market, wander to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and return to wander the Jewish Quarter. It is also highly recommended to visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount.

This is a neighborhood where you will understand what a conservative Jewish life looks like. The recommended day for a stroll is Thursday night to see how the residents of the neighborhood are preparing for Saturday. Before the holidays there is a special atmosphere and it is worth arranging a tour that will tell you more about the neighborhood. It is very important to arrive in modest attire (long skirt and shirt for women, shirt with sleeves for men).

This neighborhood is a combination of a historical site of more than three thousand years and a place that reflects the complexity of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, where people have to live but there are different and legitimate claims of land belonging to people.

Many do not know, but Jaffa, from which Tel Aviv arose, was formerly the port city of Jerusalem. Take a train to Tel Aviv and wander around using a bicycle that can be rented on a street in Tel Aviv (it is recommended to travel by the old and slow train leaving the Malcha neighborhood, you will not regret it).

Less than an hour's drive from Jerusalem lies the city with the highest political sensitivity in the West Bank. A handful of Jews living in the heart of a Palestinian mass on the one hand and a long-standing common history on the other hand make the reality in the city complex and interesting.
