Traveler advice
What to pack
Bring hiking or winter boots
If you're planning to do any sort of outdoor activity, I strongly recommend bringing a solid pair of boots. Trails can get muddy in the spring/summer/fall and there is always plenty of snow in the winter!
Getting around
All-wheel drive is your friend
If you're visiting in the spring, you'll want all-wheel drive for mud season. If you're visiting in the winter, you'll want it for heavy snow and ice!
Ways to save
Cash is king
A lot of local places accept cash only, so be sure to swing by the ATM before heading out for the day!
