Traveler advice
Don't miss
Visiting Little River Wharf Beach
The beach is located less than ten minutes from our home. Turn left out of the driveway travel 8.7 kms and look for the Little River Wharf sign on the right. Travel down the road to the wharf but turn to the right and drive past the buildings where the lobster fishermen keep their gear. You will see a dirt parking lot. A beautiful beach is there with very few people!! Enjoy swimming in the Atlantic Ocean!
Don't miss
Swimming in Indian Brook
Turn right out of our driveway and travel approximately 2km. You will cross a cement bridge right after the bridge is a road on the right. It is a sharp turn down the road. This leads you to a beautiful swimming hole with fresh water from the mountains.
Don't miss
Red Island Trail
Turn right out of our driveway and travel about 5km to St. Ann's Bay United Church. There is a trail there called the Red Island Trail and is a beautiful walk along the coast.
