Sightseeing

My father was in WWII but never shared much about his time in the war. I learned a lot while there. I also learned about my mother's service since she worked in the States during the war.

Loved this cruise! It provided a great respite from the heat, and we learned a lot of NOLA history from the tour guide, Enjoyed a fantastic creole meal during the trip as well!

Food scene

Stopped in to cool off after a long walk in the French Quarter. We only had something to drink, but a couple near us had some jumbo BBQ shrimp that they thoroughly enjoyed.
