Valentines Park is our premiere award winning park. It has been given a Green Flag Award and has been voted top ten in the country in the People's Choice Award on five occasions.
The park was originally the parkland to Valentines Mansion and Gardens.
The multi-use games area in Valentines park includes 2 multi goals for basketball and football. The installation was part funded by the Football Foundation and the Council’s Olympic Legacy Fund.

Owls Play Centre
An indoor play area which offers fun and adventurous activity for children up to 12 years old. The play centre is multi-tiered with dedicated playzones for babies, toddlers and juniors providing a safe and secure environment for children. The centre is also available to hire for parties! Our parks and outdoor spaces including park buildings are available to hire for large or small events. For further information on how to hire a park visit our page on hiring outdoor spaces.
Training businesses
If you would like to use the park for training businesses such as bootcamps, personal training or sports coaching you will need to apply for a permit. For prices and more information, please contact parks and open spaces on 020 8708 3141 (open 5 days a week from 8am to 5pm)

Bike Hire
We offer bike hire throughout the school holidays
Prices (per hour): Adult £6, Child £4
Days and times: Tuesday 3 to Friday 13 April
Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm
Booking Information:
To book your bike hire you will need:
one form of ID (either proof of address or photographic identification such as Passport/ Driving License)
a bank or credit card as a form of deposit (to be held until bike(s) are returned)
Payment will be taken upon arrival (cash or card payments are accepted). Please note that any damages to equipment may incur additional charges.

Barkingside High Street, Fullwell Cross is a Leisure Centre for all the family.
The centre is fully equipped for all your leisure needs, boasting a 25-metre pool with diving boards for swimming as well as a teaching pool for both fun and learning. Our fitness facilities include a fully modernised gym with over 60 stations as well as 2 aerobic studios running a varied and dynamic class time table. Fullwell Cross is also home to one of the most thriving spas in the area, with the options of relaxation and treatments, it is the perfect place to visit.

About the park
Clayhall Park is a mature well-landscaped park set in the heart of one of Ilford’s premier residential areas and one of our Green Flag Award Parks. There is a formal rose garden, pagoda and an impressive avenue of mature horse chestnut trees. Complete with a small maze with wheelchair access, the Rose Garden provides beautiful scenery and a relaxing escape from the rest of the park. The Park also has 2 play areas for younger children and for older children and pre-bookable tennis courts.
