Located on Lake Champlain. Offers some nice swimming spots. There an official beach with life guard, but on the south end of the park there is a very nice little cove with a spit of rocks to set you chair or lay your towel on the warm sun drenched rocks. Nice little-to-moderate rock cliffs to jump off into the water but please use caution and assess water depth as lake levels change through out the season.

If you are in Burlington on a hot summer day, stop by Oakledge and take a swim. There is a official 'beach' but head to the south-end of the park to the cove where there is a sandy beach, a spit of rocks warmed by the summer sun to lie on and relax, and nice rocks and 'cliffs' to jump into the lake. Please use caution however as lake levels change throughout the season.
