2nd largest fresh water kettle pond in Wellfleet. Highly recommend the experience. The kettle ponds were formed more than 15,000 years ago, when blocks of glacier ice melted, leaving massive holes, called kettles, that filled with fresh water.

Thought to be one of the very best beaches on the Cape. Exemplary of all the National Seashore Park has to offer featuring dunes, lighthouses and an expansive outstretched sandy beach. at the very tip of Cape Cod. Vistas around the point and of the Coast Guard station are magnificent. The ocean waves here can be big and rough, with a strong undertow. Weaker swimmers should stay in the shallow areas. There are dunes behind the beach and easy access to Province Lands Bike Trail.
