A great day trip. You'll love the "pirate" ship. It's not really a pirate ship but it's very old, very cool and you get to go right on it. https://manitobamuseum.ca/

If you like to shop, the Outlet Mall is a place to get some great deals. We do not recommend spending a day on the bus to get there as the transfers aren't great. However, if you have a car it's only about a 15-20 minute drive. While out that way you might want to also go across the street to Ikea. https://www.outletcollectionwinnipeg.com/
