Food scene

This is the wine stop in town, set in the historic post office (it will remind you of Ollivanders from Harry Potter), great local menu, awesome staff and outdoor dining. Unfortunately, closed on Sundays.

Winery

Best winery in the valley, it's worth the 30 minute drive. Both indoor and outdoor seating, vineyard views, and the food/wine pairings are delightful. Dogs are welcome, have fun!

Brewery

Champion beers, walking distance - don't miss the Cream Ale. Open until 8 p.m. and dogs welcome in the beer garden. They don't serve food, but do allow patrons to order takeout from the neighbors and bring it in. Keep an eye out for a food truck parked there. Bonus: great mountain views!

Sightseeing

The Greenway is a walking loop through in downtown Luray, it offers nature—with the winding river and migratory birds—this nature trail connects guests to downtown, after the bridge turn either left or right (we recommend turn left if our house is behind you). Enjoy!
