Beautiful Wallowa Lake is just 1.5 hours away. Enjoy the views from the gondola during the summer and fantastic cross country skiing in the winter.
Just across town is Morgan Lake. A beautiful lake above town with bass and trout. Lovely campsites and fire pits to hangout around. The road does get tough in the winter, but it can be worth it for some pond hockey or ice skating.

Excellent food and beer. Low key atmosphere and very friendly staff - a great place to end the day after exploring all the Grande Ronde Valley has to offer.
