Buy a day pass and travel from the local Glyndyfrdwy station to Corwen for some antique hunting, to Carrog for some afternoon tea and cake at their station cafe, to Berwyn for some lovely walks at the horseshoe falls and to Llangollen for all its amenities.

Walk from Glyndyfrdwy memorial hall
Walk down the A5 towards Llangollen for 5mins. When you come to the village hall, you can walk down the side of it. This is a lovely local walk with deep gulleys and old abandoned slate houses - kind of spooky but interesting! If you continue it brings to out up the hills with views of the valley
