Breathtaking waterfall and hiking trails.
Close by and interesting loop trail takes you to one of the last preserved incline planes used by the Morris Canal. The Morris Canal transversed NJ from the ocean to the Delaware River and carried mainly iron during the iron mining days. To this day, there is no other canal ever built in the world that has such a large elevation gain/loss during its course. The trail also takes you to the Ledge Mine which is a great example of what iron mines looked like in the bygone era.

Beautiful spot to hike and also to see the historical remnants of the large mining and industrial site owned and operated by Thomas Edison where he put a number of his inventions to use (mine dewatering, iron ore separation, etc.).
