This lovely establishment is just down the street from my home. It’s possible to get a table as a walk in but better to get a reservation. Wonderful Greek food and delightful ambiance!

I love this place! Its a local dive bar that has a rowdy brunch. If you’re lucky you’ll get to experience Wilema. She holds court with the entire restaurant and doles out life advice. And pulls random men into impromptu dances. Great food and wonderful pitchers of mimosas.

The food here is amazing! They make their own pasta and even have gluten free pasta. The other non pasta dishes are really interesting, as are the drinks. The bartenders have a nice understanding of wine and what would go good with a particular dish. I highly recommend!

Neighborhoods
Carytown
Loads of local unique shops. Great restaurants.
Scott’s Addition (at least 10 breweries here!) is about a mile from my house. Although it’s close, I usually Uber over because that section of Broad Street is not all that pedestrian friendly. There are really interesting bars restaurants and breweries to visit.

Richmond Murals!
I suggest doing a search for the “Richmond Mural Guide”. New murals are popping up all the time. You’ll find them on main streets, side streets and alleys. They are interesting, beautiful and creative.
