Closest town to the air bnb
Liverpool is the closest town so we recommend stopping from groceries and supplies before getting the the air bnb. There are two main grocery stores across the street from each other Sobeys and Atlantic Superstore. There are also plenty of shops and artisans and quaint places to eat. Memories Cafe and Lanes Privateer Inn and Restaurant are two of our favorites. Hell's Bay Brewery is a great spot by the water to grab a cold drink on the patio, or grab a drink to go and enjoy the view from the deck at Fishermans Legacy.
This is the closest town to Fisherman's Legacy. It has all the essentials including grocery stores, restaurants, a museum, a library, a hardware store, clothing stores, pharmacy, post office, bank, liquor store, brewery, bakery, historic theatre and more. There is plenty to see in this small town full of history and charm. Some of our favorite spots are Lane's Privateer Inn for a bowl of seafood chowder, a pint of beer from Hell's Bay brewery, a stroll around the Tressel trail, or a visit to Fort Point Park. Not to mention just touring around the town looking at all the different historic houses and buildings. If it's a rainy day you might be lucky to catch a movie or a play at the historic Astor theatre - originally built in 1902 check the website for current entertainment. Liverpool may be a small town but it has a lot to offer those with an adventurous heart.

Pop into the Kwik-Way on a hot day and enjoy a multitude of homemade ice cream sandwiches. The only problem will be getting one before they are all sold out.

Freshly baked loaves of bread and other goodies, specialty coffee, and teas. They even have ready-made meals to go - because you just might not want to cook while on vacation.

This is a protected national park to explore and enjoy. Why not pick up a picnic lunch from Lanes or make on at the house and spend the day searching tide pools, walking the beaches, exploring paths or relaxing in the sun.

Over a mile-long beach, plenty of parking, bathrooms, change rooms, and the Quarterdeck restaurant are a few of the treasures on this stop. Plan to spend the day building sandcastles and playing in the ocean or the river.
