My favorite on-mountain restaurant/bar is the Snoasis. Old school vibe and great Bloody Marys and most reasonable on-mountain prices, with Lunch Rock probably the least. LR has a cool bar w stunning views though! Also fun to people watch from the Derailer patio at the end of the day. Beware flat spots on WP side if you’re snowboarding (at bottom of Pioneer lift and a few traverses). The kiddos ❤️ Dilly Dally Alley run on WP and experts ❤️ MJ side. https://www.winterparkresort.com for the latest on mountain updates.

Check their website before you go because last I knew a lot of their amenities were only available to people staying there. Heck’s Restaurant has a nice fire pit with some great views for apres ski.

Fun tubing convenient to the condo. Bring your own ski helmet so you don’t have to deal with renting theirs.

This trail along the Fraser River is located at the bottom of the hill that leads to Meadowridge. You can follow it north to Fraser or south all the way to The Resort!

Lots of shops and restaurants along Main Street. Quaint town best visited in summer, IMO, although there are lots of snowmobiling options here as well.

Traveler advice
Getting around
Winter Park Shuttle: The Lift Rider
If you search for and download Winter Park The Lift Rider app, you can track the shuttle bus progress and keep up on all the routes and pick up times.
Don't miss
The T Shirt Shop in downtown Winter Park (next to Subway)
You can make your own one-of-a-kind t-shirt by selecting from the many designs (some nsfw) hanging in the store.
Getting around
Traveling to the Rockies
If you’re coming to Colorado from lower elevations make sure to stay hydrated to avoid headaches/altitude sickness. Chapstick is a must. You might also want to check I70things on IG to prepare you for what you might encounter with winter driving conditions. Luckily, to get to Winter Park/Fraser, you ditch off 70 well before the Eisenhower tunnel. Not to say Berthoud Pass on 40 is a piece of cake, but once you’re in the Fraser Valley it’s easier to get around. Just slow down as needed per conditions, be patient and be prepared for the safest travels!
