Rentals and equipment

For your rentals and servicing I recommend Mountain Air, at Place Blanche. Just go right at the ramp that leads up from the apartment, towards the "W" sign. Mountain Air is just there, on the other side of the square that is called "Place Blanche"

Lessons and guiding, ski and snowboard

For ski and snowboard lessons, I recommend European Snowsport. They have the best, most competent and friendliest instructors who will make sure you find the secret places in the resort and get the most out of your stay. Ask me and I can arrange a discount for you :)

Traveler advice

Getting around

Travel and parking

If travelling by train, I recommend taking the telecabine up to Verbier and then the apartment is directly below you, only 50 metres. If travelling by car, I recommend parking in Le Chable and then taking the telecabine up to Verbier. The parking in Le Chable is free. If you arrive by car after the telecabine has closed (this year it is running until 2330 at night), then you will need to drive up to resort. In that case, I recommend parking at the Ermitage parking, just near the Place Centrale. This is pay parking so I would not leave your car there all week.
What to pack

Bring thick socks or slippers

Local people don't wear outdoor shoes inside, it is more comfortable and cosy. Leave your shoes in the shoe cupboard just in the alcove to the right of the apartment door curl up on the sofa.
What to pack

Bring warm clothes for the evenings

Even in high summer, it gets much cooler in the evenings. Bring some warm clothes so you can enjoy the clear skies and fresh mountain air in the evenings
What to pack

Don't forget your power adapter

Swiss plugs are different !
