Winter Activities

Hunter is the closest (30 minutes) and some consider the best mountain for skiing in the Catskills. It's a pretty full service place with rentals and food. It is the place where people bus up from the City to go so by starting a bit closer you're able to get the jump on the lines.

Food scene

Sometimes you want a little spice when its cold out. Harana is an asian supermarket/bodega with great food. Coming back from Phonecia its a great place to stop in.

A bar with games and live music on weekends. Very relaxed vibes, expect to be surrounded by many locals where this is just part of a weekly routine and where they hang out. Large covered outdoor space has them open year round. Occasionally they will have a food truck pulled up on weekends.
