As well as top notch food created by the chef/owner and overall cool vibe, this place has a lot of history as well. The lovely couple who took over Horse Inn brought it back to life by making some needed changes, but also kept the important stuff the same. Cocktails are some of the best you’ll find in the city. At the same time, they offer a “mystery beer”, a nice cold can of surprise (along the lines of Genesee, Pabst, etc.)
