The best bread in New Haven! This great cafe/bookstore has been in New Haven for decades. It is in the ground floor of the British Art Museum which makes for a nice combination of activities on a rainy day. The British Art Museum is free also!

This coffee place is so close to our house you barely will notice the walk. Put the address into google and choose the walk feature because there's a pedestrian shortcut that's beautiful and easy. They also have drinks at night!
