Lovely grass area with old bandstand next to the River/ boat moorings. Cafes to get a coffee and sit and watch the boats go by. Boat hire available to spend an hour in your hired little boat going up and down the river.

Great food in a lovely restaurant, including probably the best stone baked gourmet pizzas in the local area. Lovely upstairs dining area with views of the Castle ruins. (Oh and our Son is one of the Chefs here 🙂)

Probably the best cocktails in Christchurch as well as lovely food in the restaurant (you can just have drinks at the bar) . Friday and Saturday evening they often have live easy listening music in the beautiful bar area.

Ideal for beginners as well as the more experienced. Reasonable prices and all equipment provided. Close to the town centre so within walking distance of the flat but there's also a cheap pay and display public car park right next door.
