Sightseeing
“This is a fun place to visit even as an adult. There are chickens, horses, sheep, and other animals to see. The house has either been closed or partially closed due to COVID, but recently it was open to at least walk through. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable about their animals and farm chores. It's especially good for kids as it's a learning experience. In the fall when I've visited they have small sugar pumpkins available for a donation, which you can either decorate or cook with. They also recently had a scavenger hunt with checklists and pencils available. I've taken my niece here each of the last two autumns and she's always enjoyed it! Plus, there are picnic areas nearby, as well as hiking trails. One of the nearby trails has a natural play area for the kids, so they can get off the trail and splash in the creek or use their imaginations.” ~Trip Advisor
