The Big Culvert is so much more than just a tunnel under the road. It was built in the 1870s to allow water to flow under the road and is constructed from granite and bluestone. You can walk through the tunnel set amongst the lush ferns and tall eucalypts, but bring your gumboots - it can be wet! You can find this little gem via a short walk from the carpark along Marysville-Woods Point Road, an approx. 20- minute drive from Marysville. Don't forget to check out Cora Lyn Falls and The Big Tree located close by!
