Sightseeing
Drive past the first camp ground, park in the 2nd lot. Hiking trails can be accessed here or take the easy paved road up to the lookout tower. The walk is about 30 minutes and will be windy. The views are worth the effort! In dry weather, 2-wheel drive is sufficient, but as always in the mountains 4x4 is preferred. Chains necessary after snows.

This is our go-to lunch time Mexican food. It is a casual cafe style and is a nice alternative to some of the other more formal places in town.
Enchiladas "Christmas style". You're welcome.
