In days gone by Borough Market was a hive of activity with live animals penned up and merchants from far and wide coming to trade their produce. Nowadays, you can experience a similar hive of activity but without the live animals. It now hosts a very successful fine food market every weekend with specialist farmers and producers travelling from all over the country to sell their wares at the first-rate market.
