Neighborhoods
We're in a residential neighborhood, and even though this property faces a city street, it's pretty quiet. We've never had any theft or vandalism of our guest's property and feel it's a safe place to be. We're close to historic Fort Smith to the west, wine country to the east, and Fayetteville and home of the Razorbacks to the north.

History Buffs
Fort Smith borders Oklahoma, which was once Indian Territory. You can still see remains of the old fort, along with Judge Isaac Parker's courtroom, and the gallows where many outlaws were put to death by hanging. We also have the Marshall's Museum honoring U.S. Marshalls over the years. There is an annual biker rally - the Steel Horse Rally - which brings in lots of bikers every spring. Lots of great restaurants, shopping, big water park in the summer months!

Our Restaurants
Here in Alma, we are blessed with many of the usual fast-food restaurants, but we also have the Catfish Hole, which has the best hushpuppies in the known world! We have the Airedale Diner which sounds like a burger joint, but actually have a fantastic menu of good home-cooking as well as the burgers - desserts are amazing! For the Cajun flair, we have Crawpappy's, we have two really good Mexican restaurants, and La Fiesta has a full bar. Also, there is the Cracker Barrel and three good pizza places.
