Great little bar with local music most nights. Usually there is a food truck off to the side of the building. If you're lucky you can catch a passenger train rolling by and hear the whistle blow.

Historic downtown Hillsborough has some really great highlights to explore. There's a great little walking trail that runs beside the Eno River. The trail starts on one end at Weaver Street Market, our local health food coop, and ends at Gold Park (left fork after the footpath bridge over the Eno, or the Nash Street section of historic downtown, (right fork after the footbridge, then turn left and follow the sidewalk for a block and a half to Nash Street.) Nash Street is the second main business sections of historic downtown, and fun little jaunt where you can get great frozen custard or catch some local music.
