Let’s go chasing waterfalls!
Do you have waterfall wanderlust? Luckily the Atheron Tablelands won’t disappoint!
Enjoy this list of special places to visit
Ellinjaa Falls is our favorite fall on the Waterfalls Circuit. It’s generally less busy than the more well know Milla Milla Falls so it’s great for a private swim. Float on your back and enjoy the peaceful rainforest canopy over head. If you’re lucky, a blue Ulysses butterfly may join you!
There’s also a small cave behind the falls that you can swim to and sit. The falls give a pretty good shoulder massage too.

Nature spotting & bush walks
One of our favorite things to do on the Tablelands is go spotting our incredible native wildlife. Tree Kangaroos, possums, retires, platypus and cassowaries… there is so much delight to see.
Peterson Creek – Wildlife & Botanical Walking Track
This is a special place to visit both during the day and at night for spotlighting wildlife.
We’ve seen cassowary on this track and an array of nocturnal possums and reptiles. It’s a lovely easy bush walk that winds down to a crater.
There are several small waterfalls along the way (Dinner Falls) and plenty of places for a picnic.
