Traveler advice
Getting around
Parking downtown
Parking in downtown Salt Lake can be tricky on some days. I would definitely expect to pay for parking if you are driving around. If you find metered parking along the streets, there are kiosks nearby you can pay with your phone Monday thru Friday from 8am-8pm. After 8pm on weeknights are free. Saturdays are are free for two hours. It is free all day Sunday. Those meter maids are ruthless so don’t play with that. There are parking garages and lots no matter where you’re trying to go closer to State Street.
