Upscale dining with one of the best patios around. In the warmer months stop by the patio (first come first serve) for a cocktail, appetizer or try a piece of the key lime pie. You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped off the streets and into a private New Orleans garden.

With two young kids, we love Parson’s easy laid back attitude, and their incredible grassy patio with chairs, tables and yard games. It’s easy to get comfortable and relax for awhile with local craft beers. Even better, there’s usually a different visiting food truck and it’s walkable from the property.

Jeni’s ice cream is always a crowd pleaser but somehow ordering it from the walk up window before heading to the park makes it that more special. This location operates seasonally but if you’re visiting during the colder months there are plenty of full scale locations around the city. They also deliver!
