City/town information
Folly Beach is a 10 minute drive from the Berry Patch and is a must visit! Some call it the "Edge of America." The beach is amazing to walk on or ride bikes and Center Street is packed with restaurants, bars, and fun things to do.
One of my favorite things to do: If you take a left at the last stop light on Folly and go to the very end of the road, past the local surf spot "the washout," you will come to a dead end. Here, park your car and walk down the .5 mile path to where it puts you out on the beach. This is where you will see an incredible view of the Historic Morris Island Lighthouse - and if you're lucky you will find a sand dollar or two!
