Even though, it is small, this beautiful island, bordered largely by coconut palms and mangroves, extensive beaches, is nothing more than a tropical paradise desired by all visitors and locals in the Dominican Republic.
The trip begins in Bayahibe, where you embark on a Speedboat to navigate through caribbean turquoise waters. The first stop will be to admire the beautiful species of exotic fish in the crystal clear waters that are no more than 16 feet deep.
Then the sailing continues along the coast where you will see the Eastern National Park, until reaching a "natural pool", considered the largest in the Dominican Republic.
This "Natural Pool" is a bank of white sand with a depth of around 3 to 4 feet. Here you will enjoy a brief stop before arriving to Isla Saona.
