This site is a must see place if your in the area! You can spend a little time or a whole day lounging in the cool waters rushing through the smooth granite formations. Definitely go see it if you can. There’s also hiking trails that lead to the Taum Sauk trail. There’s a gift shop and changing fascinates as well.

This is a really big deal! If your a mountain biker then you already know about this and you known more than me. There’s a shuttle takes peeps up to the top of Shepherd Mountain and they coast down the trails! Pretty cool stuff. There are more long trek family friendly trials coming soon but this is still kinda for the athletes who aren’t just getting on a bike for the first time in 20 years!

Great lunch and dinner menus! They have a little sports bar on one side as well. So while it says bar, it’s kinda not a bar. More like an Applebees with bar on the side. So it’s family friendly!

Really good biscuit and gravy and taters were good. If they happen to have home made cinnamon rolls ready, then I suggest you get one and take it home and not share it. Unless you want to leave one for the cleaner. You can do that If you like. 😉

This is a small town with a lot going on! Small shops and great places to visit and eat! Also great top rated schools, affordable housing, and a great low key vibe happening.
