Neighborhoods
The Friendly Neighborhood is where you are. It is one of the most loved areas in Eugene. Very family friendly, you will see people taking walks and greeting each with a wave or a smile. Families will meet at the Friendly playground on Monore Street and it is fun to discover all the Little Free Libraries that are scattered around the area. The hot spot is the Friendly Street Market and the gathering of food trucks across the street where you might catch some live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. A walk up College Hill past older big beautiful homes brings you to the historic covered reservoir that holds millions of gallons of water that still supply the city of Eugene with almost all our water needs.
