They have a pain perdu / French toast which is perfumed with orange blossom, the croissant has layers and layers of beautifully crisped dough, there are breadsticks made with chorizos and some with black olives, everything is delicious and worth a try.
If you feel like staying in for a late morning breakfast, you just need to order in advance and they’ll deliver in the morning.

The ancient French equivalent to American fast-food dining. It’s otherworldly and offers classic French dishes. The prices are definitely reasonable.

Awesome veggie and vegan options and great even for carnivores to give their bellies a little rest from animal protein. My daughter loved the mushroom burger, she didn’t even realize it was a mushroom 🤣

They have a terrace right in the park of Palais Royale. If you have kids, this is a great choice. The children can play in the sandbox or in the shade of the trees next to the terrace and you can enjoy your meal or drinks in peace. Muscade also has a little gelato and pastry window next to café Kitsuné. We highly recommend their gelatos.

This is a beautiful and traditional brasserie that is open 24/7. Their oysters (when in season) are great and everything is reasonably priced for what it is. Always dare to ask what's fresh and best. Their menu is available online.

Traveler advice
Traveling with kids
Trains and buses are more accommodating to strollers.
The subway is extremely inconvenient for families with strollers.
Also, most restaurants do not have changing tables and most WC's can be quite cramped when helping potty trained tots, expect a mess.
