Highway Driving Tips
Left lane is the “fast” lane, meant for passing or speed yahoos ONLY. Once you pass another vehicle, it’s recommended to move back to the center lane. If you must drive below the speed limit, drive in the farthest right lane. Avoid stopping on the highways at all, try to exit! If you must stop, STAY in your vehicle and pull off the road as much as possible. 📞Call 817-884-1213 for the localSheriffs Dept. courtesy patrol (for minor motorist issues like flat tire, stranded vehicle, etc). Or 1-800-525-5555 for Texas’s statewide roadside assistance.
