his is not the usual Perch Angelinos know about!
It is a cozy casual place in the mountains where you get the best, I am not kidding the best clam chowder ever!
It is served in a bowl or in sourdough bread which is made in the local bakery. Comes with a side you can pick from the list, I went with a baked potato.
I am embarrassed to say we were in town for 27 hours and we ate at Perch 3 times!
The first night we got the charcuterie board, decent size with drinks, the second time we shared the spring rolls and I got a burger, and the last day I got the clam chowder and my friend got their Fish n chips.
We absolutely loved the food, even though inside my burger was a little raw and I ended up separating the raw parts, the rest of it tasted great. It was fresh but I wish the water had asked me if I wanted it raw or cooked haha!
Regardless the experience was great so I will be back to the Perch when I am in pine mountain again.
Oh and check out the prices, you get so much quality food for what you pay for, it is probably rare to see nowadays.
