lovely to sit and unwind by the canal. The food is good. if you choose you can walk across the fields, or along the canal to this pub. About a 40 minute walk there or a 10 minute drive.

Lovely market town. about 15 minute drive from the Pigsty or a 50 minute walk up the historic Kennet and Avon canal lock flight. many coffee shops, supermarkets and local independent shops.

A lovely little village with historic stones. large car park, a couple of cafes, a pub. if you're old enough, it was featured in the children'sTV series "children of the stones".

A sleepy village where the Pigsty is situated. The local PubThe Raven is very good. Poulshot Lodge farmhouse selling locally produced meat. It has all the basics. It's home to Holi chocs, very nice, but quite expensive. The gourmet Brownie company is also situated there, and has a cafe in Devizes.
