This use to be out in the country where my parents had a farm but the City of Augusta has now come out to us. It is a mixed use area with all different cultures due to being so close to Fort Gordon. The Fort is only 1.5 miles from the house. The Fort has brought into the area many businesses, restaurants, and entertainment to the area. So you have both the country life on the hill (our property) or the city life down the road.

Getting around
A car is the best way to get around town.
Check out the Augusta Chamber of Commerce for maps and things to do. Great resource.
