In my humble opinion.. one of the best castles in Scotland. It's a Historic Scotland property so there is an entrance fee, but it is well worth it and there are lovely walks round about too.

Want to find out all about the local area? This is the perfect place to begin. There's loads to keep the kids interested and plenty for adults too.. and to top it off, there's a fascinating Camera Obscura at the top of the building (which is in fact a converted windmill!).. one of only a handful worldwide.
