Perfect place to head on a hot day. You'll need a car to access this place or catch an uber as busses dont run this far. Expect to walk 5-10min from the carpark along a sealed path (wheelchair friendly) to access numerous fresh water swimming holes. Water is cold and absolutely no crocodiles here!!!

Newly built (2018) aquarium. Not the biggest aquarium in the world but definitely worth a look - especially on a rainy day. One of the main tanks acts as a backdrop to the restaurant wall which makes it a great spot for a quick bite or coffee whilst watching sharks, rays and other creatures swim past.

Top spot to book a kayaking tour out to double island where you get to snorkel and explore the reef. Sunscreen, hat and water is a must but all the other equipment is provided. There are two or three different operators but we can recommend the company closest to the jetty (they have a trailer parked there and launch directly abeam the jetty)
