Wied il - ghasri is a unique place to swim in. The canal is a mesmerising site and walking from Merhba Apt to the site is a very pleasant walk. seeing salt pans, pebbles beaches, clay hills and on clear day you might even manage to see the Sicilian coast.

The bay is not as busy as other places. But has crystal clear water. It's great for snorkeling or diving but be careful when out on the reef. As currents can be strong sometimes.
