Getting around
Rent a car
Unfortunately, our public transportation system is awful. Renting a car is the best way to enjoy Puerto Rico. Especially the countryside where distances are considerable, nothing is walking distance and taxis barely exist.
Book before you go
Restaurants
After the pandemic and close-downs, almost all restaurants work with reservations now. It is highly recommended to reserve before you go.
Don't miss
If in San Juan…
Try Cocina Al Fondo and Vianda for dinner. Best restaurants in Puerto Rico so far.
What to pack
If coming to Cayey…
Bring a jacket. Mountain weather varies with sun and rain happening with one hour difference. During the night temperature will drop to 60-67F with a cool breeze.
