Woodstock Brewhouse
123 E Court StThis place has amazing woodfired pizza. I like the one called the Forrester with all the mushrooms. They also infuse their own vodkas and make holiday drinks that are delicious! The salads and desserts are amazing, never had anything bad here! It’s 20 minutes away, but I highly recommend it.

Hiking 🥾
https://www.nps.gov/shen/planyourvisit/day-hikes.htm
National park with 10+ hikes on the upper tier (starts in Front Royal). Many hikes intersect with the Appalachian Trail.
Check website because hikes have varying degrees of difficulty. Outside the park-Old rag is the most popular but it is very difficult so you have to be prepared for that. I personally like buzzard rock. It’s about 3 miles and you get a good view but not strenuous and not too bad if you’re scared of heights.

Buzzard Rock Trail in Front Royal-about 3 miles to the view, closer than Shenandoah AND if you’re feeling ambitious, you can keep going and going, because it cuts into the Appalachian Trail.

Deer Rapids Bridge
Really cool bridge-and a quick stop 4 miles from town. Just be careful 😁
This is an hour away, so you have to be willing to drive, but if you have never been in a cave, it is one of the better ones in the US.

Outdoor Adventure

This place is about 40 minutes from the cabin however if you have never been to Harpers Ferry, I would highly recommend going. The river is beautiful and they have tubing and rafting. Lots of outdoor sports. Great for the summertime.
River and Trail Outfitters, Millville
90 Millville RdRecently did a 5 mile kayak trip here. Was AWESOME!! Bring a cooler and make sure river tables are at least medium (this is on their website which Airbnb doesn’t let me link 😬). No real rapids-better to go to WV for that.

Farmer’s Market
3 miles from cabin. Not a traditional outdoor farmers market, but a store that sells all fresh food from their own farm including local meat and produce. They also have a delicious bakery. I prefer the oatmeal cookies
