Traveler advice
Don't miss
The market is over-rated. Carriage tours a bit sketchy.
Market area is very "touristy" and is a cruise ship stop. Also avoid the carriage rides and opt instead for a quality walking tour--the guides are much more knowledgeable and you will really get a feel for the unique neighborhoods plus see the neighborhood parks.
Getting around
Lyft is easy, parking is expensive
Parking is pricey downtown and you will get a ticket if you exceed your meter time! Folley beach tickets heavily also--so follow all rules. Pedi-cabs are super fun if restaurant or bar hopping too, but check with the driver about prices beforehand so you don't get sticker shock.
